Nepal Life Insurance Proposes 21.05% Dividend for FY 2079/80

 Kathmandu, Nepal – Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has proposed a significant cash dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80. During the 376th board meeting held on Jestha 20, 2081 BS, the company decided to distribute a 21.05% cash dividend to its shareholders. This dividend distribution will amount to Rs. 1.79 Arba from the company's paid-up capital of Rs. 8.20 Arba. An amount equivalent to 1.05% of the proposed dividend will be set aside for tax purposes.

This proposal marks a notable change from the previous fiscal year 2078/79, during which NLIC did not provide any dividend to its shareholders.

The proposed dividend is pending approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and the upcoming annual general meeting (AGM) of the company.
