Nepal vs Netherlands: Nepal all out for 106 runs against Netherlands
Nepal batted badly in their first match under ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
At the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas, America, after the Netherlands won the toss and chose to field, Nepal, who batted first, was bowled out for 106 runs with 4 balls left to play.
Despite the support of Nepali supporters at the Grand Prairie ground, the performance in batting was not as expected. The stadium with a capacity of 15,000 spectators was full of Nepali supporters.
Rohit Poudel added 35 runs for Nepal, who lost wickets continuously. Rohit hit 5 fours off 37 balls before returning to the pavilion as the seventh wicket in the 16th over.
Netherlands spinner Tim Pringnal became dominant against the Nepali batter. He made his prey along with captain Rohit Kushal Bhurtel and Anil Shah. He took 3 wickets for 20 runs in four overs.
Nepal started losing wickets from the second over. Opener Asif Shaikh was caught for 7 off Pringnal off the last ball of the second over. On the first ball of the fourth over, Kushal Bhurtel was bowled by Van Wyck's lbw while scoring 7 runs.

Sompal Kami was bowled by McCarren for a wicket before skipper Rohit was dismissed. In the 19th over, Nepal got some relief when Karan KC, who was caught off D-Lead's ball, added 17 runs with the help of 6 sixes in 12 balls.
On the first ball of the last over, Gulsan Jha was bowled by Van Wyck for 14 runs. He hit 1 six off 15 balls. Abhinas Bohra was caught on the next ball.
