India gave Pakistan a target of 120 runs, India could not even play the entire 20 overs

India have set a target of 120 runs to Pakistan in the Group A match of the ICC T20 World Cup in New York. After losing the toss and deciding to bat first, India scored 119 runs losing all wickets in 19 overs.

India did not start the game well. Virat Kohli got out in 12 runs and captain Rohit Sharma lost his wicket in 19 runs.

Kohli could only score 4 runs while Sharma scored 13 runs off 12 balls, which included 1 four and 1 six. Rishabh Pant and Akshar Patel then took over India's innings. Together they added 39 runs off 30 balls. Pant top scored 42 runs for the team. He hit 6 fours while playing 31 balls.

Akshar Patel scored 20 runs off 18 balls, which included 2 fours and 1 six.

Pant then shared a 22-ball 31-run partnership with Suryakumar Yadav. But then India started losing wickets continuously.

Naseem Shah and Harris Rauf took 3 wickets each for Pakistan. Shah bowled 4 overs and spent only 21 runs while Rauf bowled 3 overs and gave 21 runs. Mohammad Amir took 2 wickets.
