National Life Insurance Announces 14.737% Dividend ; FY 2079/80
National Life Insurance Company (NLICL) has announced a 14.737% dividend distribution for the fiscal year 2079/80. During the 526th board meeting held on Ashadh 27 (July 11), the company decided to allocate a total dividend of 14.737%, which includes a 4% bonus share and a 10.737% cash dividend (inclusive of taxes).
The distribution is based on the company's current paid-up capital of NPR 5 Arba 1 Crore 16 Lakhs 66 Thousand 425 Rupees. The 4% bonus shares will amount to approximately NPR 20.04 Crores, increasing the company's capital to NPR 5 Arba 21 Crore 21 Lakhs 32 Thousand Rupees. The 10.737% cash dividend will total NPR 50.11 Crores.
This proposed dividend will be distributed only after receiving approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and endorsement at the company's upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
