Gold Prices Reach Historic Heights: Silver Prices Also on the Rise

Kathmandu. The price of gold has set a new height in the Nepali market. On Wednesday, the price of gold increased by NPR 800 per tola, reaching its highest point to date. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Business Federation, the price of hallmarked gold is currently being traded at NPR 153,000.

Previously, on Tuesday, the price of gold was traded at NPR 152,200 per tola.

Along with gold, the price of silver is also on the rise. Today, the price of silver increased by NPR 15 per tola, reaching NPR 1,835. Previously, the price of silver on Tuesday was NPR 1,820 per tola.

Analysts attribute this rise in gold and silver prices to instability in the international market and an increase in local demand. The appeal of gold as a safe investment medium is continuing to grow.
