Putin Supports Kamala Harris for U.S. Presidential Race

Kathmandu. Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his support for Kamala Harris in her race for the presidency of the United States.

Putin stated that additional sanctions would be imposed on Russia while Donald Trump was U.S. President. He noted that no previous U.S. President had imposed so many sanctions on Russia.

At the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok, Russia, Putin was asked whom he prefers as the U.S. President. In response to this question, Putin said, 'If you had asked me earlier, I would have mentioned President Biden's name. But now he has withdrawn from the race, and he has supported Kamala Harris's name, so I will do the same.'

Putin stated, 'She smiles openly. This shows that everything is going well in her life. If she is doing everything right, she will not impose sanctions on Russia like Trump did. Perhaps she will survive this thing.'

However, Putin emphasized that choosing the next U.S. President is the responsibility of the American citizens. He stated that he respects the choice of the American people.
