Nepal Premier League (NPL) Kicks Off Its Inaugural Edition: How to Watch the Matches from Home?

Kathmandu, 15 Mangsir. The first edition of the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL) begins today.

 

The formal inauguration of the 20-day tournament will take place today at the Tribhuvan University Sports Ground in Kirtipur.

 

The opening match of the NPL will be between Biratnagar and Janakpur. Anil Shah will captain Janakpur while Sandeep Lamichhane will lead the Biratnagar Kings.

 

In the tournament running until Poush 6, 8 teams will compete. According to this, the competing teams are Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur Bolts, Chitwan Rhinos, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Pokhara Avengers, Lumbini Lions, Karnali Yaks, and Sudurpashchim Royals.


This time, at least 40 players from 16 countries are set to participate in the NPL, increasing the discussion and anticipation surrounding the league. Notable players from the Indian team such as Shikhar Dhawan to Australia’s Ben Cutting are among them.
