Lalit Takes First Wicket in Nepal Premier League, Sandeep Hits First Six as Nepali Player
Kathmandu. Lalit Rajbanshi, a bowler for Janakpur Bolts, has become the first player to take a wicket in the inaugural Nepal Premier League (NPL) held in Nepal.
In a match held today at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Lalit made history by getting Lokesh Bam, a batter from Biratnagar Kings, out.
Similarly, Sandeep Lamichhane has etched his name as the first Nepali player to hit a six in the NPL. Sandeep scored seven runs with the help of one six before getting out after facing four balls.
Previously, New Zealand's Martin Guptill hit a six. He has recorded his name as the first player to score a half-century in the NPL.
Additionally, Lokesh Bam of Biratnagar Kings has registered his name as the first player to hit a four. Lokesh scored five runs with the help of one four after facing six balls.
