Agriculture Development Bank Announces Dividend

Kathmandu, 4 Poush. Agriculture Development Bank Limited (ADBL) has announced the distribution of dividends to shareholders from the profits of the fiscal year 2080/81. The 1137th meeting of the bank's board of directors held on the morning of Poush 4 at 9:30 AM has decided to distribute a 10.53 percent dividend on the current paid-up capital.

According to the details of the dividend, 3 percent bonus shares and 7.53 percent cash dividend will be provided. The tax applicable on cash dividends has also been included. Additionally, the bank has also decided to distribute a 6 percent annual cash dividend on the non-redeemable preference share capital currently maintained by the Government of Nepal.

This decision will be implemented after approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank and subsequent approval from the upcoming annual general meeting.
