Janakpur Bolts Enter Final of Nepal Premier League by Defeating Karnali Yaks by 2 Wickets
Kathmandu, December 4. Janakpur Bolts have secured a place in the final of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket by defeating Karnali Yaks by 2 wickets.
Chasing a target of 119 runs at the Tribhuvan University cricket ground in Kirtipur on Wednesday, Janakpur won by losing 8 wickets in 19 overs. Jimmy Neesham made an outstanding contribution of 45 runs. In bowling, Karnali's Bipin Sharma took the highest 3 wickets.
Karnali, batting first, scored 118 runs in 20 overs. Karnali's Gulshan Jhaley contributed 25 runs, Dev Khanal made 24 runs, and William Basisto added 14 runs.
Janakpur's bowlers Lalit Rajbanshi, Jimmy Neesham, and Mohammad Mohsin took 2 wickets each.
Now, Janakpur will compete against Sudurpashchim Royals for the title in the final on Saturday.
