Mabilung Energy's IPO Over-Subscribed by 6 Times on First Day, How Many Applied?

Kathmandu, Shrawan 27 — Mabilung Energy Limited has seen its initial public offering (IPO) of 1,248,904 shares heavily subscribed on the first day. On the first day itself, 642,018 people applied for the company’s IPO. These applicants submitted requests for a total of 7,527,520 shares, amounting to NPR 752,752,000. This indicates that Mabilung Energy’s IPO has been subscribed 6.03 times.

Due to the high number of applications, the probability of receiving a minimum of 10 shares is only 19.45 percent. This means that only 124,890 people are likely to receive shares, while more than 517,000 applicants will leave empty-handed.
