Kathmandu. Kalanga Hydro has issued an IPO for the public starting today.
The company has received permission from the Nepal Securities Board to issue a total of 4.9 million IPO shares at a fixed rate of 100 rupees per share, which accounts for 35 percent of the issued capital of 1.4 billion. Of these, 1.4 million shares have already been allocated to affected project areas and 350,000 shares to Nepalis working abroad. The company has reserved 175,000 shares for collective investment funds and 105,000 shares for its employees, leaving the remaining 2.87 million shares to be issued as an IPO to the public.
A minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 20,000 shares can be requested. If the applications received are fewer than expected until Jestha 13, the application period will be extended until Jestha 22, as informed by the company’s share issuance and sales manager, Sanima Capital.
