Sarbottam Cement Proposes 15% Cash Dividend for FY 2079/80: AGM on Baisakh 12

Sarbottam Cement Limited (SARBTM) has proposed a 15% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80 and has scheduled the 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Baisakh 12, 2081. This marks the company’s first dividend distribution since its listing on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).

During the board of directors’ meeting, they recommended a 15% cash dividend, amounting to Rs. 69.75 Crores (including tax). The company’s current paid-up capital stands at Rs. 4.65 Arba.

The AGM agenda includes endorsing the auditor’s report, reviewing profit and loss statements, examining financial reports, and assessing cash flow statements. Additionally, the board will appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81. Furthermore, there will be elections to select 5 directors from the promoter shareholding group, one from the public shareholding group, and an independent director.

Investors who held shares before the book closure date on Chaitra 30 are eligible for the dividend payout and can also participate in the AGM.
