Cancer patient wins the 1 billion 30 million dollar lottery

An immigrant has become the fourth largest lottery winner in American history.

Cheng Sefan, who was born in the South East Asian country of Laos and is currently living in America, has won the Power Ball lottery worth 1.3 billion dollars. This is equal to 1 trillion 75 billion rupees.

According to Cheng, he slept with a sheet of numbers under his pillow for several nights. Under his pillow was the stack of papers on which he had written the numbers to win the Powerball lottery for several weeks.

Cheng, who lives in Portland, Oregon, says: I prayed to God for help. My children are young and I am very weak. My health is not good.

He matched his number in the $1.3 billion lottery that was announced on April 7 and the lottery managers awarded him the winning amount on Monday.

But Cheng is not the only one who is lucky, his wife and a friend are also lucky.

He, along with his wife and a friend, had collected money to buy more than 20 lottery tickets and one of them was his lucky ticket.

Therefore, he said that he will give 25 percent of the lottery winnings to his wife Duanpen and 50 percent to his friend Laiza Chow.
